Texans Defeat Saints In Preseason Finale

The Texans picked up a win in their preseason finale. Houston defeated the New Orleans Saints 17-13 on the road at the Caesars Superdome. C.J. Stroud completed 2-of-4 passes for 16 yards and a touchdown in the win. Mike Boone led Houston on the ground, rushing seven times for 51 yards and a score. The Texans wrapped up the preseason with a 2-and-1 record. The team will now shift its focus to NFL cut day. The Texans must have their roster trimmed to 53 players by tomorrow's 4 P.M. Eastern deadline.
