The Needville team is on their way home after Sunday's 10-0 loss to Chinese Taipei in the third-place consolation game of the Little League World Series. The local boys lost to El Segundo Little League 6-1 in the U.S. Championship on Saturday, making Needville Little League the second-best team in the country. The team returns to Houston this evening to an expected heroes' welcome. On Saturday, they were named Grand Marshals for the Fort Bend County Fair parade, coming up next month.
