Four separate Houston batters homered en route to a dominant 17-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. Yainer Diaz, Mauricio Dubon, Martin Maldonado and Kyle Tucker all homered to lift the Astros over the Tigers for the series win. Jeremy Pena went 5-for-6 with three RBI and three runs scored in Houston's second straight win. Astros starter Justin Verlander earned his 10th win after striking out seven over five scoreless frames. Houston is tied for second in the AL West at 74-and-58. The Astros visit the Boston Red Sox tonight. Right-hander Cristian Javier will start the series opener.
