Astros Defeat Red Sox At Home

The Astros took down the Red Sox for the second straight day. Houston defeated Boston 7-3 at Minute Maid Park. Starting pitcher Justin Verlander earned the win with nine strikeouts through six scoreless innings. Kyle Tucker belted his 25th homer of the season in the win. Yordan Alvarez missed the game after he slammed his hand in a door at home and injured his left index finger. The Astros are second in the AL West at 72-and-55. Right-hander Jose Urquidy will start against Boston tonight.
