The Rangers failed to pick up a win over Milwaukee. Texas fell to the Brewers 6-2 in their series finale at Globe Life Field. Corey Seager recorded his 23rd home run of the year in the losing effort. Starting pitcher Max Scherzer was handed the loss after he allowed three earned runs in less than four innings. Scherzer moved into 11th on the all-time strikeouts list in the losing effort. The Rangers have lost four straight but remain atop the AL West at 72-and-52. They will travel to face the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight. Left-hander Jordan Montgomery is scheduled for the start.
