Max Scherzer put together a dominant performance to lead the Texas Rangers to a 12-0 win over the Los Angeles Angels at Globe Life Field. Scherzer earned his 12th win of the season after striking out 11 batters through seven scoreless frames. Marcus Semien went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI to lead Texas at the plate. Adolis Garcia hit his 30th homer as the Rangers improved to 71-and-48. The Rangers will send left-hander Jordan Montgomery to the mound against LA tonight.
