Rangers Lose Series Finale To Giants

The Rangers dropped their series finale in San Francisco. Texas lost to the Giants 3-2 in 10 innings at Oracle Park. Will Smith was charged the loss for Texas after he allowed the game-winning home run in relief. Ezequiel Duran recorded Texas' lone RBI in the losing effort. The Rangers remain atop the AL West at 70-and-48. They return home to host the Los Angeles Angels tonight. Right-hander Max Scherzer will start the series opener.
