The Astros failed to sweep the Angels at home. Houston fell to Los Angeles 2-1 in the series finale at Minute Maid Park. Starting pitcher Jose Urquidy was charged with the loss after striking out seven and allowing one earned run through five innings. Jon Singleton scored Houston's lone run in the loss. The Astros are second in the AL West at 68-and-51. They will travel to face the Miami Marlins tonight. Left-hander Framber Valdez is slated to start the series opener.
