Texans Defeat Patriots In Preseason Opener

The Texans picked up a win in their preseason opener. Houston defeated the New England Patriots 20-9 at Gillette Stadium. Rookie QB C.J. Stroud started the game and completed 2-of-4 passes for 13 yards and an interception. Alex Bachman, Tank Dell and Dalton Keene all found the end zone for the Texans. Davis Mills passed for 99 yards and a touchdown as the Texans improved to 1-and-0 in the preseason. They will host the Miami Dolphins next Saturday afternoon.
