The law requires vendors to rate titles based on their sexual content. The idea is to keep explicit content off the shelves. The suit claims the law creates an unrealistic demand on stores that work with Texas schools. The bill's author, State Representative Jared Patterson, put out a statement saying the legal action is part of a "woke agenda."
