JP France earned the win after throwing seven shutout innings while Ryan Pressly notched his 24th save of the season after surrendering a pair of runs in the ninth. Martin Maldonado and Kyle Tucker each crushed solo homers as Houston improved to 58-and-44. Houston will try to pull even with the Rangers with a series sweep tonight at Minute Maid Park.
