Texas defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 3-2 in a matchup between two of the American League's top teams at Globe Life Field. Ezequiel Duran hit his 13th home run of the season in the Rangers' fourth straight win. Aroldis Chapman earned his fifth win of the year by striking out all three batters he faced in the top of the ninth. The Rangers improved to 56-and-39. They will host the Rays again tonight, with right-hander Nathan Eovaldi slated to start opposite Tampa Bay righty Taj Bradley.
