The Rangers dropped their series finale in Boston. Texas lost to the Red Sox 10-6 at Fenway Park. Corey Seager went 3-for-5 and bashed his 11th home run of the season. Jonah Heim recorded a team-high two RBI in the Rangers second straight loss. Josh Sborz was charged the loss after he walked two and allowed three earned runs in just two-thirds of an inning. Grant Anderson was then handed his fourth blown save as Texas fell to 51-and-37. The Rangers will continue their road trip tonight against the Washington Nationals with left-hander Cody Bradford slated to start.
