More Than A Thousand Arrested As French Riots Continue

French police report more than a thousand arrests as protests rage over the fatal police shooting of a teenager. "The Guardian" says over 45-thousand police officers were deployed across the country to quell the rioting on Friday. Stores in the cities of Marseilles and Lyon were looted and vehicles were set on fire. The French ministry of interior says nearly 80 police officers were treated for injuries.
