A district judge's ruling says state police must give news outlets access to public records related to last year's school shooting in Uvalde. Last August, 14 news organizations sued the Department of Public Safety for turning down requests for records such as investigative reports and officer testimony. The DPS has faced criticism after video footage showed troopers and other police waiting more than 77-minutes before killing the shooter, who killed 19 students and two teachers. The judge ruled in favor of the news outlets on Thursday.
