The Rangers jumped out to an early three-run lead and held on for a 5-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. Josh Jung led Texas at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a home run, one RBI and a pair of runs scored. Rangers starter Andrew Heaney earned the win after striking out six and allowing two earned runs through five-and-two-thirds innings. Will Smith notched his 13th save as the Rangers improved to 45-and-27. They will send right-hander Nathan Eovaldi to the hill against Chicago tonight.
