The Astros lost their fourth straight game. Houston lost the Cincinnati Reds 9-7 in 10 innings at Minute Maid Park. Seth Martinez was charged the loss after allowing three runs in the 10th inning. Corey Julks hit his sixth home run of the season as Houston was swept by Cincinnati at home. The Astros are third in the AL West at 39-and-33. They will host the New York Mets tonight and send right-hander Hunter Brown to the hill for the start. In a minor trade over the weekend, Houston acquired right-handed reliever Joel Kuhnel from the Reds in exchange for cash considerations. Kuhnel was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land.
