The rivalry between the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies is being reignited with the announcement that the two will be playing next year in the Longhorns first season in the SEC.
The SEC announced the 2024 football opponents and venues and Texas is scheduled to play Texas A&M at Kyle Field in College Station. It will be the first time for the two teams to meet since 2011.
The SEC announced the following SEC matchups for Texas during the 2024 season:
- at Texas A&M
- vs. Oklahoma, Red River Showdown at the Cotton Bowl
- vs. Florida
- vs. Georgia
- vs. Kentucky
- vs. Mississippi State
- at Arkansas
- at Vanderbilt
