School closures and campus reorganizations may be on their way to the San Antonio ISD. Superintendent Jaime Aquino announced on Tuesday that the school board will vote next week to proceed with a study to figure out the best way to reorganize schools in the district. Aquino says the changes are necessary because declining enrollment over the past 20-years has left the district with a lot of "unused school space." He says any changes made won't take effect until fall of 2024, and that the district plans to retain its staff members.
