The Astros struggled at the plate in a loss north of the border. Houston fell to the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1 at the Rogers Centre. Mauricio Dubon hit his second home run of the season with a lead-off blast in the first inning, but the Astros never scored again en route to the loss. Starting pitcher Hunter Brown was charged the loss after totaling five strikeouts and allowing three earned runs through six frames. The Astros totaled just four hits as they slipped to 36-and-25. They will send right-hander Ronel Blanco to the hill against Toronto tonight.
