The Rangers will be without their ace on the mound a while longer. Texas transferred Jacob deGrom to the 60-day injured list on Monday, pushing back his potential return to late June at the earliest. The 34-year-old right-hander hasn't pitched since leaving a start early on April 28th. Texas general manager Chris Young said that deGrom "hasn't improved maybe as quickly as we had hoped" following a handful of bullpen sessions since going on the IL. The earliest the two-time NL Cy Young Award winner could return to the lineup is June 28th.
