Rangers Sweep Mariners At Home

The Rangers swept the Mariners at home. Texas defeated Seattle 12-3 at Globe Life Field. Jonah Heim led the way at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run, five RBI and a run scored. Corey Seager hit his sixth home run of the year as Texas improved to 38-and-20. Rangers starter Nathan Eovaldi improved to 8-and-2 after striking out seven through six scoreless frames. Eovaldi has a 0.68 ERA through his last seven starts. The Rangers begin a three-game set against the St. Louis Cardinals tonight. Texas will send left-hander Martin Perez to the hill opposite St. Louis right-hander Adam Wainwright.
