The Rangers failed to pull off a sweep in Detroit. Texas lost to the Tigers 3-2 in their series finale at Comerica Park. Starting pitcher Dane Dunning was charged his first loss of the season after striking out six and allowing three earned runs through five frames. Jonah Heim and Nathaniel Lowe each drove in a run in the losing effort. Texas remains atop the AL West at 35-and-20. The Rangers will return home to host the Seattle Mariners tomorrow night.
