Astros Fall To Twins To Lose Series

The Astros lost their series finale against Minnesota. Houston fell to the Twins 8-2 at Minute Maid Park. Yainer Diaz and Jake Meyers scored Houston's runs on back-to-back solo shots in the eighth inning. Starting pitcher Hunter Brown slipped to 5-and-2 after striking out eight and allowing five earned runs in less than five innings. The Astros are sitting second in the AL West at 32-and-23. They will send left-hander Framber Valdez to the mound for their series opener against the LA Angels tonight.
