Texas football is adding an experienced member to its coaching staff. Paul Chryst will join the Longhorns as a special assistant to head coach Steve Sarkisian. The former Wisconsin coach was fired midseason last year after the Badgers went 2-and-3. The 57-year-old was a career 67-and-26 at Wisconsin and won three division titles. He also guided the Badgers to a Cotton Bowl victory in 2017 and an Orange Bowl win the following season. Chryst also spent three seasons at Pitt where he went 19-and-19 as a head coach.
