The Allen Premium Outlets reopens today, several weeks after a deadly mass shooting. On Tuesday, the outlet and its stores prepared for the reopening. A gunman killed eight people and wounded seven others on May 6th, before an Allen police officer shot and killed him. Simon Property Group, owner of the mall, told the 120 businesses they can reopen when they're ready and set their own hours of operation. Allen police officers will work onsite to provide increased mall security.
