The Astros are going to be without a member of their starting rotation for a while longer. Lance McCullers Jr. has suffered a setback in his return from a muscle strain in his forearm and is no longer throwing off the mound. The right-hander is back to throwing on flat ground after participating in bullpen sessions earlier this month. Houston manager Dusty Baker said that the team has "to take it slow with Lance until we know that he's 100 percent." The 29-year-old has not pitched in a game this season after starting just eight games in 2022.
