The Rangers took down the Pirates to win their second straight series. Texas defeated Pittsburgh 3-2 in the series finale at PNC Park. Martin Perez improved to 6-and-1 after seven strong innings of work, while Will Smith notched his ninth save of the season. Marcus Semien hit his eighth home run of the year in the win. The Rangers won two-of-three over the Pirates to improve to 31-and-18. They will continue their road trip tomorrow night against the Baltimore Orioles.
