It's been one year since the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde. Many in the community remain frustrated by the lack of answers and accountability of law enforcement, who waited in school hallways before confronting the 18-year.
"You realize you still don't have the answers that you need and it is frustrating to all," said Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin.
The criminal investigation over the hesitant police response to the attack at Robb Elementary School is still ongoing.
One of the deadliest school shootings in American history was carried out after the gunman legally purchased two rifles just days before. 19 children and two teacher lost their lives, leaving behind endless pain for families and the community. Officials said this week that plans are moving forward to demolish the site of the massacre.
