Six Of 15 Fastest-Growing U-S Cities Are In Texas

Recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau says six of the nation's 15 fastest-growing cities by percentage are in Texas. The list includes cities with at least 50-thousand population from July 1st, 2021, to the same date in 2022. For the second year in a row, Georgetown topped the list. Kyle, Leander, and Little Elm ranked third, fourth and fifth, giving Texas four of the top five spots. The Houston suburb of Conroe came in 11th, and New Braunfels at 13th. Including Texas, nine of the nation's 15 fastest-growing cities are in the South.
