Governor Greg Abbott is expected to sign a dangerous dog bill into law in the weeks ahead. House Bill 4759 allows residents to file complaints about dangerous dogs anonymously, making it easier for Animal Control Services to remove them. The bill is also called the Ramon Najera Act, after an 81-year-old San Antonio man who died in a dog attack in February. The dogs also injured Najera's wife and two others.
