Yainer Diaz hit his first Major League home run to lead the Astros to a 4-3 win over the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. Diaz hit a solo shot in the fourth inning that put Houston ahead by four runs. The Astros then held off a late Chicago surge to win the series. Houston starter Hunter Brown improved to 4-and-1 after allowing three earned runs and striking out eight through five-and-two-thirds innings. Ryan Pressly recorded his seventh save of the season. The Astros have won four of five to improve to 21-and-19. They will host the Chicago Cubs for a three-game series that begins tonight with southpaw Framber Valdez on the mound.
