Daniel Perry Sentenced To 25 Years

The Texas man who shot and killed a Black Lives Matter protester in 2020 is going to jail for 25-years. Daniel Perry was a ride-share driver at the time and unknowingly turned into the protest as it made it's way through downtown Austin. His attorneys claimed that the victim was waving an assault rifle, and Perry was scared for his life. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has vowed to push for a pardon of that sentence.
