The San Antonio police are reporting more DWI arrests during Fiesta 2023 than last year. The department released the statistics on Tuesday. This year's Fiesta took place from April 20th to April 30th. Police say they arrested 151 people for DWI during Fiesta 2023. That's 22 more than last year, but 18 fewer than in 2021. The numbers have been declining since 2018's total of 227 DWI arrests during Fiesta. The citywide celebration was canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic.
