Anthony DeSclafani delivered eight scoreless frames to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. DeSclafani improved to 3-and-1, while Camilo Doval recorded his fourth save of the season. Joc Pederson and Blake Sabol recorded an RBI to help San Francisco end a four-game losing skid and improve to 12-and-17. Yainer Diaz recorded two of Houston's three hits in the poor offensive showing. Starting pitcher Hunter Brown dropped to 3-and-1 after allowing two earned runs through four-and-a-third innings. The Astros had a two-game winning streak snapped to slide to 16-and-14.
