The Houston Astros are losing another member of their starting rotation. Houston placed pitcher Luis Garcia on the 15-day injured list Tuesday. The starter left Monday night's win over the San Francisco Giants in the first inning with right elbow discomfort. Garcia became the second Astros' starting pitcher to go on the list this week after Jose Urquidy was placed on the IL on Monday due to inflammation in his right throwing shoulder. The 26-year-old Garcia has a 2-and-2 record with an ERA of 4.00 through six starts this season. Houston recalled left-hander Matt Gage from Triple-A Sugar Land in a corresponding move.
