The Astros scored five runs in the seventh inning to surge past the San Francisco Giants 7-3 at Minute Maid Park. Houston second baseman and lead-off batter Mauricio Dubon led the charge at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored. Jose Abreu also drove in a pair of runs to help the Astros improve to 16-and-13. Houston reliever Ryne Stanek earned the win and improved to 2-and-1 after tossing one scoreless inning. Right-hander Luis Garcia exited his start in the first inning with right elbow discomfort. Houston will host the Giants again tonight with right-hander Hunter Brown taking the hill.
