The Astros survived a late Phillies rally to earn a 4-3 victory at Minute Maid Park. An Astros error in the top of the eighth allowed Philadelphia to get within one, but Ryan Pressly was able to shut the door in the ninth to pick up his third save. Jose Urquidy improved to 2-and-2 after giving up two runs in five-and-a-third innings, while Jake Meyers hit a solo home run in the victory. Houston avoided being swept by the Phillies with the win in the World Series rematch. The Astros will take on the San Francisco Giants tonight, with right-hander Luis Garcia on the hill.
