The Astros erupted for five runs in the fifth inning to take down the Tampa Bay Rays 5-0 at Tropicana Field. Jose Abreu, Corey Julks, Jake Meyers, Jeremy Pena and Kyle Tucker each recorded an RBI in the win. Starting pitcher Luis Garcia improved to 2-and-2 after notching seven strikeouts over six scoreless innings. The Astros put an end to the Rays' 14-game home winning streak and improved to 13-and-11. They will return to the diamond tonight for the series finale with right-hander Hunter Brown taking the hill.
