Astros Drop Series Opener To Rays

The Astros dropped their road series opener. Houston fell 8-3 to the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg. Jose Urquidy was tagged with the loss after giving up six runs on seven hits in two-and-two-thirds innings. Alex Bregman and Jeremy Pena each homered in the losing effort. The Astros had a four-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 12-and-11. Houston sends right-hander Luis Garcia to the rubber tonight.
