Jacob deGrom struck out 11 batters in his return to the mound as the Rangers beat the Athletics 5-2 in Arlington. deGrom allowed just three hits and two runs, one earned, over six frames. He didn't miss a start after dealing with some right wrist soreness. Robbie Grossman hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs in the victory. Texas won the three-game series and improved to 14-and-7. The Rangers visit the Reds tonight and send right-hander Nathan Eovaldi to the mound for the series opener.
