Astros Finish Strong To Take Down Blue Jays

The Astros scored six late runs to pad their lead and take down the Toronto Blue Jays 8-1 at Minute Maid Park. Houston starter Luis Garcia delivered nine strikeouts over seven scoreless frames to improve to 1-and-2 this season. Jeremy Pena hit his third home run of the season when he launched a three-run shot in the eighth. Jose Abreu and Jake Meyers each drove in a pair of runs as Houston won the series and improved to 9-and-10. The Astros start a road series with the Braves tomorrow night.
