The Texas Rangers' top pitcher is expecting to make his next start. Right-hander Jacob deGrom said the soreness in his right wrist is feeling better. DeGrom told reporters that he did some work in the training room, feels good and fully anticipates making his next start. Manager Bruce Bochy said he will play catch Wednesday and will "check out how his wrist feels." DeGrom pitched four hitless innings before departing Monday night's game against the Kansas City Royals. The 34-year-old signed a five-year, 185-million dollar contract with Texas during the offseason. He is scheduled to pitch Sunday against the Oakland Athletics.
