The Texas Rangers crushed the Kansas City Royals 12-2 in an American League matchup at Kauffman Stadium. 

Marcus Semien homered for the third straight day with a three-run shot and ended the game 2-for-3 with three RBI and a pair of runs scored. 

Adolis Garcia hit his fourth home run of the year with a three-run bomb of his own in the eighth. Texas starter Nathan Eovaldi improved to 2-and-2 this year after letting up two earned runs and striking out five over six innings. 

The Rangers sit atop the AL West at 11-and-6. Kansas City's Kyle Isbel and MJ Melendez each notched an RBI in the loss. Brad Keller was charged the loss after allowing three earned runs across four frames. The Royals have lost five straight to slip to 4-and-14.
