The Rangers recorded their first road series win over the Astros since 2018. Texas downed Houston 9-1 at Minute Maid Park yesterday to capture its second win of the three-game series. Marcus Semien blasted a grand slam in the seventh inning to lead the way for Texas. Brock Burke earned the win on the mound, while Framber Valdez was charged the loss for Houston. Jeremy Pena scored the Astros lone run of the game when Alex Bregman was walked with the bases loaded. Texas is atop the AL West at 9-and-6. Houston is currently fourth at 7-and-9.
