Texas Rangers are investigating a police chase that ended with three people in custody. At 1:30 p.m. Thursday near South Park Mall, Department of Public Safety special agents spotted the three suspects trying to break into cars. A DPS patrol car tried to pull over the suspects on Loop 1604 at Highway 281 North, and the chase was on. Several DPS cars got involved, and the suspects rammed one of them with their car, prompting the troopers to shoot at them. All three suspects were arrested and face charges of burglary of a vehicle, evading arrest, and aggravated assault. Their identities haven't been released.
