The Longhorns will need to replace one of their starters on the hardwood next season. Texas freshman forward Dillon Mitchell is declaring for the 2023 NBA Draft while maintaining his NCAA eligibility. The 19-year-old averaged 4.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in his lone season in Austin. ESPN currently has Mitchell ranked as the 31st-best prospect heading into the draft on June 22nd. The combine is set to take place May 15th through 21st in Chicago.
