The Astros avoided a sweep by beating the Minnesota Twins 5-1 at Target Field. Hunter Brown earned his first win of the season, giving up just two hits and an unearned run while striking out seven over seven innings. Chas McCormick led the way at the plate going two-for-five with a home run and four RBI. Houston is tied for third place in the AL West at 4-and-6. They will travel to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight. Southpaw Framber Valdez is slated to start on the mound.
