The leader of a large scale drug smuggling operation will be spending the rest of his life in an American prison. Jorge Sanchez Morales worked with the ultra-violent Sinaloa cartel to ship drugs from Mexico to El Paso and then on to Atlanta. At one point, the feds say that he was filling tanker trucks full of liquid meth. In a statement, the U-S Attorney for the Western District of Texas called the life sentence a big blow to these smuggling enterprises.
