The Astros failed to put an end to their losing skid. Houston fell for the third straight time in a 6-3 loss to the visiting Detroit Tigers at Minute Maid Park. Kyle Tucker hit his second home run of the season in the loss and finished the game 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored. Framber Valdez was charged with the loss on the mound after allowing three runs, two earned, while striking out nine in seven innings of work. The Astros slip to 2-and-4. They will send Cristian Javier to the hill to face the Tigers this afternoon.
